Using the powerful solver of FLOW-3D, the market-leading software for transient and free-surface flow simulation, FLOW-3D HYDRO directly targets hydraulic engineers by allowing them to simulate everything from simple clean water flows, air entrainment phenomena, multi-phase flows, erosion and redeposition phenomena, dense and muddy flows up to 2D/3D hybrid simulations and even huge expansions.

● In FLOW-3D HYDRO, 8 templates and 36 example simulations guide the modeller in choosing the necessary models and setting up the simulation;
● The sediment model allows direct modelling of erosion and deposition phenomena, automatically and dynamically modifying topography, bathymetry and solid obstacles;
● Incorporates a Shallow Water model which can be coupled with the three-dimensional simulation, enabling a hybrid 2D/3D approach;
● With the moving object model, moving objects whether or not they are coupled with fluid and up to 6 degrees of freedom can be easily integrated.
